I cannot activate my service as my Activation code is lost/has expired?

Lost Activation Code:

If you still have your User ID and password but have lost your Activation code within 28 days of enrolment, you will be able to request a new Activation code online by following the steps below:
  1. Login to the Government Gateway with your User ID and password or digital certificate.
  2. On your Services List, under 'Action' select 'Activate' against the relevant service..
  3. Select 'Request a new Activation code'.
  4. You will receive a new Activation code by post within 7 days.
  5. Activate your service within 28 days by following the first two steps above then entering your code in the 'activation box' on screen, and select 'Activate service'.
  6. Once you have done this please destroy your Activation code, as you will not need it again.

Expired Activation Code:

If the 28 day activation period has lapsed and you have not yet activated your service, you will need to enrol again.
  1. Login to the Government Gateway using your User ID and password or digital certificate.
  2. Select the service you wish to enrol for.
  3. Enter the identification details requested.
  4. Select 'Continue' but DO NOT enter your old Activation code.
  5. You will receive a new Activation code by post within 7 days.
